Having spent two years on a government funded project for Southampton, Eastleigh, Test Valley and New Forest Councils Mandy decided to go out on her own offering property management services in and around the city of Southampton. In March 2007 Let & Go Limited was inaugurated and took an office in the Solent Business Centre; Unit 203 to be precise. With hind sight it was probably not the best time for a start-up business to launch as this coincided with the banking crisis and everything that ensued.
Not one to be easily deterred Mandy persevered and as the saying goes “Mighty oaks from little Acorns Grow” twelve years later we have a large property portfolio owned by an amazing group of landlords, a fantastic and reliable team of contractors and to quote one of our long standing multi landlords’ “the best property managers in the business”. All of these factors have allowed the business to grow from strength to strength.
To complete the package we are members of ARLA and the Property Ombudsman Scheme (TPO) which gives our landlords the peace of mind knowing that we work to a strict code of conduct. We believe the key to our success is spending time with our landlords and tenants and getting to know their requirements and then having the flexibility to design a service to meet their individual needs.
